Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent. Approx. 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing
processes and optimal production techniques, ideally from Consumer durable / FMCG companies
Principal Responsibilities:
- Management of the Company operations at various locations
- Maintain production plant and process
- Lead projects to optimize production technology, to increase production capacity, to establish new production
segments
- Maintenance Management, Supply Chain Management
- Production control and planning
- Quality assurance (also for productivity and on-time delivery) including operation relations to customers
- Coordination of release of mass production
- Purchasing
- Planning of production costs
- Manufacturing P/L responsibility, Sales and Marketing P/L responsibility
- Coordination between Sales, Purchases, Production and Marketing functions
- Management of Distribution System
- Marketing and Sales strategy and execution at national level
- Planning of purchase, sales and marketing costs
- Overall P/L responsibility
- Planning and maintenance of workerforce, management teams and other staff
- Recruiting, training and development, career management for all staff
Behavioral Competencies:
- Experience with modern Automotive production systems and with Indian companies and culture preferred. NO MNC
- Experience in mass production (ideally from the automotive industry) and in managing manufacturing processes, ideally from a consumer durable /FMCG industry
- Leadership experience in production
- Knowledge of quality management systems QS 9000 / ISO/TS 16949
- Experience with direct customer relationship (including quality meetings, serial releases, auditing)
- Strategic and analytic thinker
- Entrepreneurship, business strategic thinking, leadership, communication, personality
- Ready for national and international business trips, ready for longer training stays in France
- Intercultural strengths
