Consumer Insight Analyst  - We are looking for customer obsessed, data driven entrepreneurs to join one of the E-Commerce leader. Solve some of the hardest problems for their customers. If you want operate at start up speed, solve some of the hardest problems and build a service which customers love, this might just be the place for you.  - This team represents the voice of the Indian customer by looking inwards at their data/metrics to come up with insights and outwards via customer research, CSAT surveys and awareness/brand studies.   The team will own :  - Data analysis and reports for senior leadership reviews  - Ad hoc analysis and dive deep requests   - The customer research agenda  - The team will leverage the global CI team's help in building automated data models and reporting for IN; as well as leverage other research teams to avoid redundancies and increase research output. The team's output will be to create actionable feedback for other teams (content, product/engineering, etc).   - The right person will provide strategic technical leadership for the analysis that needs to be done, the architecture of their data, and the most effective recommendation.   - You will partner with business leaders and global customer insights teams to drive strategy and prioritize projects and feature sets, you will also write and review business cases, and drive the data set development schedule from design to release.   - You will have responsibility of a Business/Data analyst.   - This role requires a leader motivated to develop better than best-in-class analytics and needs to have excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.  The role's responsibilities include :   - Building weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reports   - Qualify and quantify operational improvement opportunities   - Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the direction of the business.   - Maintain data integrity and troubleshooting issues; ensure data accuracy by validating data with new and existing tools. Learn and understand a broad range of the data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use.   - Work with global and local CI teams to leverage best practices and databases   - Build scalable processes and metrics   - proactively share and learn best practices for CI and research from other teams in India and across the world   - Stay abreast of new tools, trends, and best practices in analytics, CI and research.   - Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and marketing team colleagues to understand objectives and opportunities.   Basic Qualifications :  - 5+ years Business Intelligence / consumer insights experience working with Data Warehouse solutions and large data sets   - Expert level data modelling and ETL skills, knowledge of industry best practices, and a deep understanding how data is extracted, transformed, scrubbed and loaded in a 200-plus-terabyte DW environment.  - Experience in a consumer internet company or the consumer internet eco-system including research analytics/consultancy with working experience of internet analytics tools and databases.  - Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, data mining and financial analysis and delivering value-added insights and recommendations.  - You know and are excited by cutting edge technologies in business intelligence; your technical skills are rock solid and you drive towards simple solutions to complex problems. You are adept at solving problems that span business and technology.  - Experience working with Oracle, SQL databases.  - Experience working with common business intelligence tools (Tableau, Micro-strategy, Cognos, Essbase).  - Proven track record in teams that have provided analytics support to global stakeholders.  - Ability to understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective BI solution.  - Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously to meet tight deadlines and drive projects to completion.  - Strong drive for execution and delivering results. An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
