Consulting - Oil & Gas

Currently there is an opening with a leading financial consulting for a consultant who has working experience of consulting, business & financial research in Oil and Gas industry based in Gurgaon

- Strong domain experience in Oil and Gas sector

- Understands macro-economic indicators, price dynamics of crude, trade in international market, supply and demand dynamics

- Knows industry fundamentals of upstream (exploration) and downstream (refining and marketing) business of oil and gas company

- Hands on experience of calculating and analyzing financial, operational and other qualitative ratios and indicators

- Has ability to conduct competitive benchmarking and providing insights & recommendations

- Strong client presentation and powerpoint skills

- Exposure to working with global organizations, including few onsite stints, highly desirable

Required Background

- 2-4 years of experience in consulting / business & financial research in oil and gas sector

- MBA from a top tier business school

- Global work experience with boutique or large consulting firms preferred, though not essential

- Strong business fundamentals, written and verbal communication skills

- Has experience of doing primary research including interviews with experts & executives

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solving acumen

- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

- Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with strong leadership, analytical, communication and teamwork skills

- Prior experience in client relationship management will be an advantage

- Experience of working across various geographies and sectors would be a plus
