Senior Consultant - Strategy and Markets

The core services within strategy and markets practice are:

- Business and Markets strategy

- Customer centricity and go-to-market

- Revenue enhancement through sales effectiveness

- Business and product portfolio optimization

Responsibilities:

- Develop insights on market potential, growth, competition, market segments, customer segments businesses by performing industry/ sector study, competition benchmarking, evaluate financial statements and economic data

- Design and implement primary / secondary customer research models as part of the consulting projects to estimate and/ or validate insights ;

- Conduct primary and secondary research and apply outcome to develop conclusions/solutions for clients

- Effectively develop and deliver project deliverables as an onsite team member for consulting projects

- Interact with client to develop approach methodology and build consultative relationship

- Develop effective and efficient analytical models for hypothesis validation and business case development for consulting projects

- Design and implement primary / secondary customer research models as part of the consulting projects

- Manage client stakeholders on a day to day basis when deployed on projects with guidance from the project manager

- Develop knowledge collaterals based on project learning /collective industry experience

- Assist regional directors in business development by ensuring effective business analysis of the prospective clients and work with service line leaders to develop effective pre-proposal packs.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- Engineering with a MBA from a top school preferred

- Need to have at least 7+ total years of experience (industry and consulting)

- Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience

- Experience of Market entry strategy, market assessment, global expansion strategies, commercial due diligence projects delivered through a combination of primary research & secondary research

- Effective communication and client stakeholder management skills

- Experience working in cross functional teams across marketing, sales, operations and finance in industry / consulting projects required

- International exposure beneficial, however primary domestic experience is key

Location: Pune/Bangalore/Chennai

Travel: 50-60%
