Role & Responsibilities :

Consultants: recruiting Consultants in their Strategy & Operations Consulting, to work with client facing teams under the guidance of Manager / Senior Consultants. The individual will be responsible for carrying out analysis related to engagement requirements to support teams working on assignments ranging from conceptualization and implementation of business planning, process re-engineering and cost reduction initiatives. Participate in preparation of proposals and commercial bids, points of view / intellectual property for the Management Consulting practice across domains and industrial sectors.

SR. CONSULTANTS: recruiting Sr. Consultants in their Strategy & Operations Consulting, to work with client facing teams under the guidance of Manager / Associate Directors/Directors. The individuals role includes spearheading small internal client facing teams on client engagements and guide them to solution / delivery by executing the tasks that are part of overall assignment; lead modules of the engagement in small parts; interact with and present ideas / new perspectives to senior client personnel. Play a role in business development activities of the firm by identifying potential clients, prepare proposals and commercial bids. Contribute in preparation of points of view / intellectual property for the Management Consulting practice across domains and industrial sectors.

Domain experience

We are looking at hiring individuals with experience in specific domains as indicated below.

For Operations:

Manufacturing :

- The individual should have relevant work experience in a manufacturing related environment [viz; either worked on a manufacturing excellence project / been a part of internal business excellence consulting teams / worked in line / staff function in a manufacturing organization. [Please see qualification section for details]

- Knowledge of management methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, Total Productive Maintenance [TPM], TOC, TQM, Asset optimization, with hands on implementation with at least one or two methodologies will be an added advantage.

A working knowledge of quantitative analysis tools such as Minitab/SPSS/SAS is preferred.

- Black Belt / Green Belt certification is preferred.

Procurement:

- The individual should have managed the procurement function (direct or indirect) across any of the industry environments [industrial products, automobile, engineering, FMCG etc].

- Have specific expertise in techno-commercial expertise of sourcing direct materials / sourcing of indirect materials & services.

- Should have knowledge of tools / levers / concepts like strategic sourcing, global sourcing, e-sourcing, make / buy evaluation, early vendor involvement etc.

- Knowledge of using e-sourcing tools like Ariba, Hubwoo (preferred)

Having led procurement cost optimization / procurement process optimization projects and preferably been a part of large scale procurement optimization initiatives.

- Knowledge of one or more direct material technologies like castings, forgings, sheet metal, proprietary or indirect categories like Consumables, Travel & Stay, IT Purchase, Manpower etc.

- Good knowledge of costing mechanism (Zero based, Activity based] and Total Cost of Ownership evaluation

- Certified professionals will be an added advantage

Supply Chain [Planning, Transport, Logistics & Warehousing] :

- The individual should have managed the logistics & supply chain function across any of the industry environments [industrial products, commodities, e-commerce, FMCG etc].

- Have specific expertise in sourcing of logistics services, having led distribution and supply chain cost optimization projects, and should have managed the demand side planning processes for FMCG/commodity environments. Preferably been a part of any large scale supply chain initiatives.

- Knowledge of demand driven replenishment systems, inventory modeling

- Hands on knowledge of running technology like APO, APS, I2

- Working knowledge of linear / non-linear optimization tools for supply chain efficiency

- Apex Certified professionals will be an added advantage

The Individual:

- The individual should bring relevant work experience in the above domains, or should have prior/current consulting work experience.

- The individual should be well versed with data analysis using excel.

- The individual should be good at analyzing financial statements, and providing a point of view / insights

- Problem solving skills to meet client needs using a blend of intuition and analysis, have a balance between strategic and operational focus

- Good communication skills (both oral and written), good power-point skills that help to promote clarity and also present persuasive options.

- The individual should be able to interact with the clients across levels and work in teams.

- Willing to travel and work out of remote client locations

Qualification:

- MBA/PGDBM/PGDM (full time) + a Bachelors Degree in engineering / MBA-Tech from premier institutes only

Consultants 2-4 years of work experience in the industry or consulting experience

Sr. Consultants - 5-6 years of work experience in the industry or consulting experience
