Job Description : Senior Consultant/Consultant Oil & Gas

Line of Service: Advisory

Location: Mumbai or Delhi

Desired Qualifications:

- Mechanical / Chemical Engineer from reputed institute, Economist or Chartered Accountant

- PG in Finance, Economics, Petroleum or equivalent

Desired Experience: 0 to 7 years

1. With a Big4, or Strategy Consulting, or Industry specific Consulting organization in Consulting or advisory role prominently in petroleum and allied industry
Or,

2. In one or more of the following industry, preferably in Commercial, Finance or Corporate Planning experience

- Exploration & Production Industry (Service or operator)

- Refinery & marketing, Supply & Trading

- Gas, LNG, Pipelines, distribution

- Fertiliser, petrochemicals
Or

3. A combination of the above profiles.

Salary:

Commensurate with education qualification and experience, as per company policy.

Role:

The appointee, with the assistance of team members undertake the following-

- Business Development and sales

- Growing firm’s visibility in the target market

- Prospecting for advisory/ consulting engagements

- Proactively generate business leads

- Preparing and following up for proposals for generated or received leads

- Client Servicing

- Undertake analysis, research and documentation for development of client deliverables upto acceptance stage

- Presentations and meetings with clients

- Management of projects including resource management, guidance to teams, client interface and accomplishing work within timelines

- Practice Development

- Practice reviews, business planning and strategizing growth

- Training and developing resources

- Maintaining records of work done and developing sales tools on ongoing basis

- Knowledge management and Go-to-market

- Lead or assist in initiatives like visibility through publications, media, seminars, conferences, etc.

- Developing knowledge base, information and data regarding the sector

Area of Business:

One or more of the following to be decided based on team structure

- Exploration & Production, E&P Service industry, E&P construction industry

- Refining & marketing

- Pipelines

- Gas, LNG

- Fertilisers

- Petrochemicals

- UCG, CBM, Shale Gas like non conventional gas

- Commercial and regulatory Due diligence

- Financial analysis

- Market assessment

- Investment advisory and M&A

- Strategy advisory
