Consultant/Senior Consultant - Deals Strategy Practice - Big4 (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Deals Strategy practice combines expertise from the firm's leading Strategy and Deals practices to give our clients a clear deal advantage.

Deals Strategy serves two primary client sets :

Private Equity Funds - services include:

- Industry / market assessment

- Outside-in / limited commercial due diligence

- Full scope commercial due diligence

- Portfolio company performance enhancement

Corporate Clients - services include :

- Industry / market assessment studies

- Feasibility studies

- Target search / screening

- Growth strategy - organic / inorganic

- Business plan development / validation

- Joint venture / partnering strategy

- Commercial due diligence

- Synergy assessment

- Deals Strategy is a highly industry vertical-aligned strategy practice, comprising strategists who bring both execution pace and sector depth to pure-play strategy engagements that are typically less than 2 months in duration.

- Deals Strategy has embarked on an ambitious growth plan in India, and we are keen to hire strategists in our team.

Desired Experience :

- 3-8 years of management consulting or consulting experience with a research / consulting firm

- Specific consulting / industry experience

- Experience in Deals will be a definite advantage

Desired Educational Background : MBA from a Tier 1 institute

Role Description :

- Lead client engagements independently, with very limited senior supervision

- Guide and develop junior team members in preparing analysis plans (for example, hypothesis / issue trees), conducting research and preparing findings

- Manage, motivate and train junior team members

- Conduct quality control of client deliverables

- Manage engagement and firm risk compliance processes

- Meet and develop relationships with clients in the allocated industry vertical, and deliver on limited sales targets

- Lead client discussions

- Lead proposal development

Candidate requirements :

- Very strong analytical skills and structured problem solving abilities

- Impeccable oral and written communication skills

- Willingness and ability to frequently work under tight timelines and pressure

- Keen interest in sales and business development

- Team leadership skills
