Consultant/Business Analyst - Utilities/Power

- Proficient in understanding of utilities domain and across the entire energy value chain comprising of Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution & Power trading.

- Understanding of business processes in diverse areas of Power Trading including Day head power procurement and Long/Short term power procurement from different sources of energy (Conventional or Non-conventional).

- Experience in Preparation of Current Process Document (ASIS), Best Process Document (TOBE),Requirement for Proposal (RFP) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies

- Understanding of business processes in diverse areas of Distribution/Generation including Meter To Cash,Demand Side Management, Energy Efficiency,web and mobile application

- SAP/ORACLE Industry Specific Utilities knowledge in designing the Business Processes

- Understand business process and business requirements of the customers and translate them to specific software requirements

- Act as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams

- Develop high level designs for new processes based on business requirements, business solution architecture for a power management company

- Provide expert domain understanding and thus provide functional inputs to develop various proof of concept application for Utility clients across worldwide

- Understand the M2C (Meter2Cash) process, customer care services which is a backbone of utility distribution business.

Implement Integrated Automated Business Solution which comprises of Power Portfolio Management. High level solution overview:

- Procure power efficiently through Long term, short term open Access, power exchange contracts & Power banking contracts

- View the demand and supply Gap based upon forecasts and contracts and decide the day ahead schedules

- Reconcile the data from regional energy accounts against the energy Schedules

- Market reasonability: Capability to give most suitable bid rate by analyzing input data on the basis of various pre- defined logics such as average, seasonal, time of the day etc.

- Experience in Evaluating the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis and transform the solution and operational requirements as per clients need

- Attending various meeting with client and solution vendors for exchanging requirements.
