Designation : Construction Manager - Roads / Highways

Location: India

Job Description His tasks include:

- Ensure that the earthwork & pavement works are executed in accordance with the plan, drawings specifications and time schedule.

- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, plant and other resources and facilities.

- Provide technical guidance to subordinates

- Report to higher site management regarding constraints and possible solutions.

- Bring out the holds ups, which impede progress of work to the notice of the higher site management.

- Get the work inspected and approved by the client / Consultant / Independent Engineer.

- Ensure implementation of quality, safety, hygiene and environmental measures.

Desired Profile:

- Should have Engineering Degree (preferably first class) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university / engineering college with the experience of 12-18 years in construction of medium to large Highways / roads project.

- Should be conversant with latest construction technologies used in highways / roads project, especially in pavement / asphalt work and earthwork.

- Knowledge of computer applications (MS Project & Primavera) and codes of practices Indian Construction Standards, specification for Highway construction will be an added advantage.

- Should be ready to relocate in India & Middle East.

- Should have knowledge of contract billing and basic statutory requirements.

- Should have good communication skills and aptitude to develop leadership qualities.

- Knowledge of computer applications/ exposure to design work desirable

Experience 12 - 18 Years

Education B.E. Civil / B. Tech Civil
