COMPLIANCE MANAGER AND HEAD OF ACCOUNTS - JOB DESCRIPTION  About Globatronix:  - Globatronix is a leading manufacturer of wire-wound precision electronic components for aerospace, military and other high-end applications with 100% export to France and the USA  - Employee strength is ~700 people with about 60 Staff and 650 workers  - The company is in existence since 1979, has 2 manufacturing plants, and is located in SEEPZ   Responsibilities Assumed:  - Compliance:  Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies  Ensuring regulatory and financial compliance in all matters of the Company  Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control  Preparing reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate  Assessing the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks  Revising procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues  Handling Regulatory compliance with regards to Income Tax, ROC, SEEPZ authorities, BMC authorities and labor department  Dealing with SEEPZ and other regulatory bodies  Monitoring the performance of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis, and taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness  - Accounts:  Supervising day to day activities of Accounts Department  Managing Payroll functions including salary & wages, Daily Time Reports & Gratuity Scheme  Ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures  Ensuring that all accounting standards and Standard Operating Procedures are followed in preparing the financial statements  Overseeing the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements  Fulfilling requirements of statutory audits for PF, ESIC, PT and MLWF  Coordinating and managing statutory audits, transfer pricing studies, and timely filing of tax returns  Liaising with tax consultants for completion of assessments, appeals, and refunds  Ensuring Direct Tax compliances and handling all Indirect Tax matters in coordination with the consultants  Prerequisites:  - Strong fundamentals in Accounting  - Strong exposure in Risk & Regulatory Compliance  - In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations  - Strong eye for detail  - Good interpersonal skills  - Excellent multi-tasking skills  - Effective managerial skills   - Good command over written and spoken English  - Ability to meet deadlines and good time management skills  - Self-starter with strong work ethic and high energy levels  Candidate Qualification & Experience:  - 5-10 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree   - Post-Graduation - CS/CA  - MBA preferred but not necessary   Compensation:  - Commensurate with industry standards  Job Location:  - Andheri (E), Mumbai
