Organization: A Commodity Trading and Arbitrage Company

Position: Research Analyst-Agri Commodities

Profile/Responsibilities:

Conduct and supervise fundamental research in commodities of interest (current focus: Rajasthan and Gujarat region)

- Primary research through crop surveys

- Networking with market participants at the field-level for first-hand information

- Secondary research through research reports of trading houses, private and government databases

- Crop-specific analysis based on prices, physical production, crop cycles, weather impact, demand and supply factors, government policies etc

- Compile comprehensive databases to conduct statistical analysis

- Build periodic directional forecast reports

- Produce weekly / monthly commentary for Top Management to explain market changes

- Provide frequent market updates and price implications to traders. Support the traders in their market analysis needs
