Senior Manager Sales (BFSI)

Job Description :

- Selling a real-time market data terminal to banks, mutual funds, insurance companies (BFSI) with an individual sales target.

- The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of experience in BFSI, Institutional, or Corporate sales in financial services. Candidates who have sold information products or to treasury departments in the BFSI segment will be preferred.

- Must have relationships in the higher echelons of treasury department of banks and corporate sector, asset management companies, insurance companies, PE and VC Funds.

- Identify and develop relationships and successfully deliver sales in a demanding environment.

- Identify & develop leads from new and existing accounts.

- The candidate must have a deep understanding of the foreign exchange, bond, and money market.

- The candidate must understand the data and information needs of potential users in the BFSI segment and should be able to use product knowledge to meet customer needs and close deals.

- The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

- The individual needs to be highly motivated, disciplined, self- driven and passionate.

- Candidates with a working knowledge of real-time market data terminals such as Cogenics, Bloomberg, Reuters or working knowledge of database products such as CMIE, Capital Line, and Capital IQ will be preferred.

- 6-8+ years of experience.

- Self-starter, organized, attention to detail, deadline oriented, hands-on.

- Should be confident, self-motivated, passionate

- Knowledge of equity markets, bonds, money, foreign exchange would be added advantage.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
