What is the Business like-

CodeChef is a not-for-profit educational initiative by Directi, an Indian software company. It is a global programming community that fosters learning and friendly competition, built on top of the world's largest competitive programming platform.

Responsibilities will include:

Write engaging and relevant content on the CodeChef blog.

Be responsible for proofreading, suggesting changes and editing all content on the CodeChef website

Write creative content for marketing campaigns and branding of CodeChef and its initiatives

Help manage CodeChef's presence on social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Quora etc.

Qualities of an Ideal candidate:

You must have 0-2 years of relevant work experience

Must be in love with writing and use it as a weapon of choice to express

Must have good command over the English language

Must have passion for journalism, research and reporting.

Must be able to present thoughts into writing in a succinct way and possess an ability to create compelling content in no time

Must be highly creative, enthusiastic and a quick thinker.

Must be able to create content with various tones.

One or more of the following will fetch Brownie Points:

Great organizational and learning skills

Mastery of editing tools like Word and Google Docs.

Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices

An understanding of formatting articles on the web and knowledge of basic HTML

Some experience with online marketing and lead generation
