To support the growth of the business in India and neighbouring countries Cochlear South Asia is investing in building sales, marketing, finance and operations support to service the region. Key Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Specialist to support our growing business in the South Asia based in the territory of Maharashtra and based in Mumbai. This is a technical sales role, requiring a strong understanding of in-theatre practices.

- This role works with the Key Opinion Leaders to develop a strong customer base for the company and is responsible for achieving the sales targets and driving the market growth for the region as well as contributing to develop the market intelligence.

- The Product Specialist also has the responsibility to establish, develop and foster relationships with all key customers within the territory to ensure Cochlear is the implant of choice. This role develops sales plans and implements activities to prepare and submit sales reports and sales forecasts. Regular travel within the India is expected as part of the role.

- In this role you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your knowledge and experience.

- To be successful in these roles, you will have strong communication, networking, and relationship building skills and a willingness to accept personal responsibility and be accountable for actions and decisions. With excellent customer focus, you will have the ability to identify problems and seek out sensible solutions in a timely fashion

Key Requirements:

- Hold a relevant education e.g. BE (Electronics), BTech, BSc

- Possess strong communication skills

- Fluent English levels

- Proven Sales experience preferably within the medical devices, implants or ENT Surgical Solutions

- Previous experience working in an operating theatre environment or knowledge of practices and procedures

- Strong networking and relationship building skills
