Coach - Learning & Development - IT/Online (8-20 yrs)
- Overall responsibility for the L&D function for the Organization
- The role involves extensive training delivery, supporting and challenging managers in decision making on business & HR related matters
Job Role :
- Develops and maintains the internal training infrastructure
- Works with finance Dept to prepare a Training and Development budget and ensures that training expenditure stays within budget.
- Develop a comprehensive Training Calendar .
- Designs and deploys Talent Management Assessment methodologies.
- Designs and implements Leadership Development solutions. ( in-house and outsourced)
- Designs and deploys generic training programs: Induction; Sales; Customer Service; Team Work, Train the Trainer, etc.
- Assists Business Units in the design and deployment of an effective and comprehensive Induction training program to fit the needs of each Business Unit.
- Works closely with BU's to develop and maintain an effective - Induction Package-
- Identifies, assesses, deploys and evaluates the effectiveness of external training providers.
- Works closely with BU's to develop a - Mentoring and Coaching- training program.
- Over the longer term, identifies, assesses, deploys long-term flexible approaches to learning including e-learning solutions.
- Prepares and maintains training reports and statistics for management review.
- Ensures the training and development and performance management of own direct reports
Formal education :
- Master degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience :
- At least 8+ years experience in Managerial level, including specialist experience in the management of a Training and Development function.
Capabilities :
- Recognizes the objectives of the team and actively contributes towards the achievement of these.
- Demonstrates experience of the delivery of T&D services to the business.
- Is flexible in attitude and approach.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, standards and timeliness in activities or tasks.
- Makes independent decisions within general operating guidelines, but actively seeks guidance or supervision when required.
- Identifies and raises issues and problems within the team.
- Demonstrates advanced relationship management skills with Business Unit heads and line management
- Demonstrates values, acting with honesty, integrity and fairness in all business transactions.
Salary range - 12 - 35 LPA
