Job description :

- Product managers at Cleartrip are responsible for one thing - shipping awesome products that our users love. That means you need to do everything it takes to ship these products. From identifying areas to focus on, understanding user needs, writing requirements, working with all teams to implement, analyse data post launch and chalk out the strategic direction of the product.

- As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for prioritization, implementation, and analysis of customer-facing features, with an intense focus on driving conversion and customer loyalty.

- You will work with the designers and developers in to constantly find and test improvements with high commercial impact. This is a position where you will be empowered to have a significant responsibility and offered a fantastic opportunity to improve the customer experience for all the products in our Hotels/Air/ Local vertical. So you need to be able to do all that listed above for all the products under your watch.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lay down the strategic direction of the product you are responsible for and work with stakeholders to foster alignment on the goals

- Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout project execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives

- Research and specify new features and enhancements to existing features. Document the requirements via well defined specifications and review with the team and stakeholders

- Bring together engineers, designers, and departments from around the company to ensure that the products are useful, usable, delightful, and timely.

- Collaborate with UX designers for the discovery and design phases of a feature

- Create, monitor, conduct analysis and evaluate the impact of experiments using a combination of web analytics, user analysis, user surveys and internal tools.

Desired Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of work experience with, preferably, 3-4 years managing consumer facing products

- Ability to take overall business objectives and combine them with insight into user problems to solve

- Strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly

- Experience working with high traffic applications focusing on ecommerce

- You can use data to drive decisions and directions and also understand API documentations

- Able to work well independently and within a team; good communication skills with a can do attitude toward problem solving

- Applicants with specialist knowledge and experience in conversion optimization, digital marketing, UX design, or consumer psychology and research will be considered with priority.

- MBA from premier institutes preferred
