Cleartrip is funded by Ram Shriram, Sherpalo Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, two leading venture capitalists in the Silicon Valley who have supported and helped build some of the most successful online companies globally giving Cleartrip high credibility and access to a wealth of experience and guidance.   Position: Revenue Specialist   Reporting to: EVP Supplier Relations  Position Description   - A revenue specialist's mission is to grow the revenue generated in the air product by working on initiatives that improve key business metrics of sales and unit level revenue. A revenue specialist is the custodian of pricing and conversion in the online channels and work across cross business & product teams with the objective of impacting the key drivers of the business.   Responsibilities:  - Key areas of responsibility will include deep understanding of the business and creation & execution of a plan that improves conversion and revenue per segment (RPS) across all channels of distribution, with a big focus on the B2C channel. The revenue specialist with interface with the key account managers (airline relations), product managers and sales managers (corporate and agency sales) to achieve the performance metrics. A key responsibility will include working with the business teams to prepare insightful presentations to airlines that highlight trends and opportunities of growth.   Desired Candidate: One with atleast 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role from airline or travel industry  - Strong organization, communication, and people skills required.  - Basic knowledge of Revenue Management desired  - Sales bend of mind with a strong business sense  - Team player  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  - Good problem solving skills  - Strong analytical skills and can easily derive interferences from data   - Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment.  - Professional, “get it done”: attitude and work ethic.  Work Experience and Education Guidelines:   - The successful candidate will have an engineering / economic / mathematics background and an MBA in business management/ finance / marketing from a premier institute
