Position : Indirect Tax Consultant

Location : Bangalore

Looking for a Indirect Taxes (IDT) expert which can be part of the core team of Cleartax and help build a great GST product.

The candidate will be a thought partner to the founders, product and the corporate sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform current state analysis of tax related processes to articulate solutions and project methodology pertaining to tax function transformation or tax applications relevant to the context in Client conversations and demonstrate ability to sustain opinion with sufficient examples / expertise

- Impart strong functional knowledge and guidance to enable Tax Function to be migrated to Tax Tools and Application

- Support Source Data Sensitization and Data Evaluation analysis to enable successful tax function transformation.

- Support configuration of the tools and applications to meet client requirements as a functional expert

- Supervisory role may be a played by a consultant to ensure that the work/deliverables executed by his subordinates meet the quality expectations and meets clients expectations

Desired Skills :

- Should have experience in Finance function with experience and skills in Indirect Tax processes, Financial and Tax reporting

- Candidate should be self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills

- Strong inter-personal skills with ability to connect with leadership
