Job description

Position Name: Assistant Manager - Taxation

No. of Vacancies: 01

Reporting to: Manager - Accounts

Business Unit: Corporate Office (Ahmedabad)

Business Entity: Claris Lifesciences Limited

Role

To manage the direct & indirect taxation.

Responsibilities

- Timely calculation and payment of TDS and Income Tax.

- Timely filing of quarterly TDS returns, annual income tax return.

- Timely calculation and payment of quarterly Advance Income Tax.

- Managing statutory forms (TDS certificates) to be received and issued.

- Liason with Income Tax department for getting the assessment done and getting specific approvals/certificates like DSIR approval etc.

- Addressing Income Tax (TDS) department's queries and notices.

- Closing working with Accounts & other teams to get ICDS compliance done.

- Ensuring proper withholding tax compliance on international transactions.

- Reviewing inter-country transactions from Transfer Pricing perspective & suggesting tax planning tools.

- Liason with consultants working on Income Tax & Transfer Pricing matter.

- Working on preparation of Transfer Pricing study report & TP assessment.

- Assisting Accounts team for getting the Tax Audit done.

- Preparing MIS reports as per managements requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience : 4 - 6 years of post qualification CA experience in any Manufacturing Industry.

Functional Expertise:

- Have excellent knowledge of service tax, GST, FTP, customs laws.

- Have excellent knowledge of transfer pricing.

- Good knowledge of SAP

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce and qualified Chartered Accountant

Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, presentation skills and networking skills.
