Position Name : Manager - Internal Audit

Role :

- To execute and review internal audits for the organization, including follow-up audits; assisting in undertaking special reviews, as per applicable guidelines and schedule.

Responsibilities :

- To conduct internal control evaluation for identifying process & control gaps and ensure that objectives of the organization are achieved economically, efficiently, and effectively.

- To undertake periodic reviews and monthly audit of financial transactions as per the rules and requirements

- To identify required internal checks including pre-audit checks, adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance with rules, laws, and regulations to ensure that payments to contractors/consultants are made in accordance with the stipulated guidelines of the government & donor agencies and ensure that systems exist for generation of accurate & reliable financial & other information.

- To work hand-in-hand with external agencies appointed by the management for audit of the organizational records and ensure timely completion of required tasks.

- To develop advanced knowledge of SAP reports and controls relating to operations.

- To develop methodology to perform transaction review, and identify additional areas wherein transaction audit needs to be performed.

- To implement audit policies/SOPs' along with other stakeholders/ process owners.

- To interact with functional teams & their HOD's for audit observations, on continuous basis.

- To ensure corrective action and follow-up activities involving policies & procedures identified during audits.

- To manage medium sized pre-audit and post-audit teams.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Experience : 6+ years of post qualification experience with at least 3 year as Internal Auditor in a manufacturing company, preferably in Pharmaceutical industry/Big4

Functional Expertise : Sound audit and accounting knowledge with working expertise in SAP

Educational Qualifications : Chartered Accountant
