Position Name: AGM - Business Finance

Reporting to: Vice President - Business Finance

Role
To manage and ensure all financial process and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare/compile financial and operating budgets as well as periodic performance and financial forecasts of the function.
- Prepare comparative/variance reports highlighting the key areas of concern. Compile/prepare short & long term business and financial plans.
- Review plan versus actual productivity on monthly basis.
- Track high value projects and rigorous follow-up with functional teams for regular update.
- Develop systems and reports to provide critical information to the function head on both strategy and operations.
- Work closely with the function head to ensure operational success through cost analysis support, compliance with operational & contractual requirements.
- Manage and ensure all financial processes are running smoothly, as per the agreed timelines (e.g. purchasing, payments, accounts payable, etc.)
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards & principles, regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
- Develop a reliable cash flow projection and reports which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
- Monitor the business performance against the budget and conduct variance analysis of the function.
- Ensure the legal compliance and agreements for sales & marketing functions are kept in place.
- Oversee the process of operation and finance, develop suitable SoP's for smooth functioning.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience : 9 - 12 years of experience in any Manufacturing Industry.
Functional Expertise:
- Have excellent knowledge of Accounts, budgetary controls.
- Have excellent knowledge of comparative/variance reports.
- Have excellent knowledge of SAP & Excel.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce and CA/MBA Finance
Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, presentation skills and networking skills.
