The Business Entity:

Cisco's Global FP&A Center of Excellence organization (CoE) seeks Finance Controller who is highly engaging and has a passion for building and developing teams to drive standardized periodic reporting and analytics as well as operational process improvement. The Team:

- The candidate will be responsible for the overall execution of all CoE processes in scope for their respective regions and/or business entities and ensure consistent and quality application of the global service delivery processes.

- These processes include periodic performance reporting, annual planning and forecasting, and decision support analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

- Manage a team of CoE financial analyst/specialists :

a) Oversee & deliver all periodic performance reports (i.e. weekly, monthly and quarterly, as necessary), along with necessary analysis, to support their respective finance business partners in a timely manner.

b) Manage process consistency and service quality relating to such periodic performance reports and supporting analysis.

c) Review performance metrics and consistency of service levels

d) Ensure use of standard technology across regions

- Work with global lead to design regional process and setup adequate governance and management structure

- Review standard operating procedures and identify process standardization opportunities across processes in the CoE

- Establish and recommend best practices to leadership team; and consequently across the enterprise

- Manage process consistency and service quality related to forecasting, annual planning, and decision support analysis in the regional CoEs

- Coordinate with other regional and global CoE leads to determine best practices and standard technology

- Understands Cisco's general business strategy and how it differs from competitors

- Manages projects or programs in Finance; may lead cross functional teams

- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes milestones to meet objectives

- Evaluates and sells alternative solutions, effectively influencing outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications:

Required: Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent

Preferred: CPA, CA or MBA or other advanced degree

Work Experiences:

- At least 10~12 years or relevant experience in Finance and/or Accounting areas preferably in US high tech multinationals. Prior experience in a FP&A CoE environment a plus.

- Proven experience in developing successful partnerships with multiple groups inside and outside Finance on a global basis.

- Track record of excelling in a deadline constrained environment

- Demonstrated ability of identifying, streamlining, and improving processes while obtaining results

- Additional wider financial or business environment experience in project related areas is an advantage

- Possess a track record in supporting and collaborating with cross functional teams globally
