Job Description
Accountability Cluster / Major Activities / Tasks :
- Design & implement various Short term & Long term incentive plans for various levels to ensure retention of critical talent and high performers. Propose revamped Variable Pay plan linked to Company, Function/Business and Individual Scorecards
- Propose LTIP scheme for Overseas based employees to retain critical talent and ensure achievement of Business goals while ensuring legal, tax & social security related local geography compliances
- Assist Head - Performance & Rewards & Head - Rewards in Design and Implementation of Rewards Philosophy & Framework in Cipla with a view to ensure that the best talent is attracted and rewarded - Define Cipla's Global Rewards philosophy in consultation with Key Stakeholders - Business & HR Leaders
- Design and Implement Global Rewards Framework drawing linkage to Overall Business & HR Strategy, Talent, Performance & Engagement agenda of the company
- Reward the behaviors that drive the results
- Leverage various channels of communication to create awareness and build capability among HR colleagues and employees around Rewards
- Assist Head - Performance & Rewards to prepare Annual Business Plan for P&R team - Identify key FY deliverables of P&R CEO function with inputs collated from Company scorecard, GCPO scorecard, HRLT feedback & MC members feedback and prepare annual business plan (ABP) for P&R COE function
- Prepare FY implementation plan comprising key P&R deliverables as defined in Rewards Annual business plan
- In Collaboration with Head- Compensation & Benefits ensure availability of talent through mobility in various Geographies and Business entities - Review and Introduce Process improvement guidelines pertaining to Mobility Policies (e.g. Business Travel, Short term International Assignment, Long term International Assignment, Localization, Repatriation)
- Propose and annually review a country-wise benefits chart in countries of Expatriate presence
- Rollout of International Compensation offer for Long Term Assignments & local hires for Overseas geography(ies) - Prepare and close compensation offer for all Secondment to overseas location in line with the Long Term International Assignment policy.
- Preparation of Secondment offer for employees who are identified for overseas assignment in line with Long / Short term assignment policy ensuring the offer is fair to employee and fair to company.
- Assisting employee in the mobility related matters (work permit, Household shifting etc) through partnering with external agencies and respective HRBPs.
- Inputs to India Payroll team about stoppage of payroll upon movement and payment of LTA, Leave encashment etc.
- Partner with TA team for rolling out compensation offer of local hires for overseas geography.
- Rollout of Annual Compensation revision and performance bonus pay-out for all the employees in overseas locations - Collaborate with external reward consultants to present annual Increase proposal linked to Regional Market Trends, Company Performance and Approved Budgets
- Collaborate with Business & HR leaders to present proposal for Performance Bonus Pay-out in line with Company, Business & Individual Scorecards
- Rollout of Annual Increase, Performance Bonus & Equity grants for all overseas based employees within agreed timelines
- Design/Review International Compensation Process Guidelines/Policies in line with changing business needs and market trends, Conduct a Market Benchmarking to identify trends and best practices which may be incorporated into rewards processes/policies and make suitable recommendations to Head - Rewards
- Prepare process improvement guidelines pertaining to Rewards from cost perspective
- Ensure simplification of various International Rewards processes and smooth communication of the same to Business/HR leaders
- Prepare guideline documents on Joining Bonus Currency Fluctuation, Repatriation etc. while seeking and incorporating inputs from various stakeholders such as External consultants, local HR business partner(s), expat employees
Preferred Qualification :
Experience - Post - Graduate or MBA in Human Resources or its equivalent
- 5+ years of overall HR experience & at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in managing Rewards and specifically Expat & Equity based compensation in an organisation of a similar scale and sector/ experience may include HR consulting
