Reporting to the Business Unit Head for the division, the incumbent would need to:
- Identify new business opportunities, to maintain and improve its market presence across therapies in India
- Provide meaningful insights into decision making that would positively affect the business turnover and valuation
- Ensure high quality of communication material generation which is standardized across
To achieve the necessary goals, the role would entail the following responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Create and implement effective direct sales strategies toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.
- Analyse operational performance and trends and suggest appropriate action to ensure financial results and objectives are maximized.
- Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
- Proactively identify changes in healthcare, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
Control & Monitoring:
- Provide sales management & budget control
- Provide revision of strategies through market visits, observations and measurement
- Prepare & present to the top management monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Projects:
- Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.
- Establish effective communication & sales channel with key business partners (Stockists, institutions, distributors, etc.)
We are looking for:
- Ideally a candidate who brings about 12-15 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/OTC business
- Proven business analysis with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives
- Solid understanding of Pharmaceuticals and all regulatory issues
- Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of top management
- Strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills
