Job Description :

- Understand client's technical / application landscape, business drivers, requirements, product strategy, market / regulatory / compliance impacts on the project / portfolio pipeline

- Assess client's QA / Test / product development life cycle, and release management processes & practices

- Design and Deliver a framework based on the Test processes

- Support Sales team in responding to RFP- s, Client Calls, Questionnaire and SOW- s

- Independently design Test strategies for complex business functionality

- Drive quality methodologies and best practices across the client organization

- Conduct trainings on Test methodologies, Testing techniques, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Metrics and Measurement etc. as needed

- Provide recommendations on suitable testing tools & Infrastructure

- Assess the technical skillset of the client QA organization

- Should be conversant with all forms of QA lifecycle from smoke testing to regression, functional, non-functional (performance, security) and automation

- Work with key stakeholders at the client location and build strong trusted relationships

Desired Candidate Profile :

Must be from Tier-1 & Tier-2 B-schools

- Must have 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in QA / Test process consulting and also in program / project management

- Good experience in full software life cycle including Waterfall and Agile methodologies

- Experience in implementation of TCoE (Test Center of Excellence) at client locations

- Experience in providing recommendations to the client on test process, testing tools, infrastructure, environment management, release management, automation and non-functional testing

- Experience in defining roadmap for implementing test process and TCoE

- Experience in defining and implementing test processes

- Should be conversant with all forms of QA lifecycle from smoke testing to regression, functional, non-functional (performance, security) and automation

- Experience on test management tools like Quality Center / ALM, Rally, Jira, etc.

- Strong client interaction capabilities to undertake existing process framework studies

- Successful presentations to executives and senior management

- Creative in thinking innovative ideas/ approaches

- Knowledge of current industry trends

- Ability to drive the engagements individually and with global teams

- Have led critical projects and possess project management experience

- Previous travel experience in delivering consulting engagements

- Should have good ability to influence / sell consulting solutions to client

Knowledge / experience on the following will be added advantage :

- Integrating automation tools like HP QC, QTP, Selenium or open source tools

- Scripting language like VB, Java, etc.

- Design and implementation of automation frameworks

- Performance Testing tools like LoadRunner / JMeter

- Security Testing tools such as Qualys / Veracode or Industry standard tools

- Maintain test infrastructure / environment requirements

- Cloud based applications / tools

- Best practices / Quality Models like TMMI, TMAP, Agile, DevOps, PMBOK, CMMI

- Publishing of white papers / presenting in forums
