Job Title: Manager/Deputy Manager - Taxation  Job Purpose: Taxation (Direct and Indirect taxation).   Salary Range - 10 Lacs  Reports to : DVP Finance  Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:  - Responsible and advising the management on the direct tax and indirect tax implications   - Responsible for timely filing of all tax returns, transfer pricing, other tax returns  - Responsible for monitoring and execution of intercompany Agreements  - Adhering to the Tax strategy of the Company  - Tax Planning  - Responsible for Statutory Payment (i.e. TDS, ST, WCT, PF, PT etc.)  - Responsible for accurate deduction of TDS, WCT etc and filing of the respective returns with the tax authorities  - Maintenance of the cenvat register along with utilization  - Responsible for service tax computation and filing of the returns with the tax authorities  Knowledge / Experience / Skills:  - Commerce Graduate and Chartered Accountant  - 3 - 5 years experience in Taxation in a large organization (preferably in Insurance Industry).   - Knowledge of working on accounting software  - Well versed with MS Excel and MS Word.  - Working knowledge of tax laws.  Behaviours / Competencies:  - Works cooperatively and productively with others; openly exchanging information and supporting colleagues from around the organisation to achieve business goals.  - Continuously identifies opportunities for process improvement.  - Establishes priorities, tasks and work schedules in advance.
