- Working with senior management to define other BI & Data analytics offerings

- Involved in business development process related to building this division

- Working on initial BI and data analytics projects from current clients

- Optimizing BI and data analytics environment for existing clients

- Clients are typically financial services firms but also certain other sectors

- Role definition is highly dependent on the individual. Depending on the drive and skill set of the individual, responsibilities would follow

- Hire and train other junior members of the team

- Build the practice

- This is a highly entrepreneurial role: As part of the recruiting process, you will be required to present a business plan that covers the areas within the Data analytics world that you believe the firm should focus on, and what it would entail in terms of sales effort, investment and time. If hired, you would be brought on board to implement that vision

Required Background

Educational: Top educational institution with a strong academic record

Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

- Consulting mindset

- Strong communications skills

Very strong technical skills (familiarity/expertise in a combination of R, SAS, Python, Excel VBA, ETL through SQL, Database and Data-warehousing)
