Chola MS General Insurance - Investment Analyst - Buy Side

Description :

- Conduct fundamental research and analysis on designated sectors and companies

- Assist in building and maintenance of the team's database on historical and projected financials and valuation models for sector/company holdings

- Prepare reports on sectors and stocks to communicate investment thesis

- Maintenance research - meet/dialogue with management of companies and sell-side analysts, attend on site company visits, review earnings releases, maintain excel models with relevant company updates and analysis, and continually review recommendations of existing investments

- Develop and maintain business relationships with company management teams and industry experts

- Administrative support for the team as needed

Requirements :

- An experience in equity or business analysis is a strong positive; Business or economics undergraduate degree, MBA, CA or CFA is desirable

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of valuation and financial modelling experience

- Working knowledge of corporate finance and the equity markets in India

- Self motivated, results driven and able to work independently. Superior written and verbal communications skills; Good interpersonal skills

- Strong computer skills - exceptional Excel and working familiarity with software's like Bloomberg

- Preference for Chennai based candidates
