Role - Chief Technology Officer (Product Company) - B2C Must

Role & Responsibilities:

- Will be a core member of the team (along with the founders)

- Lead the product development from a technical standpoint, and take end-to-end responsibility for all things technical for the product

a) From technology selection to architecture and design

b) Development planning with eye on detail, and execution to plan

c) Working with, and guiding the engineering team in delivering the product per agreed timelines

d) Own up the design, development, integration and unit testing efforts for the product

- Hiring, nurturing and managing a team of developers to create and deliver world class products

- Design the technical architecture, create and deliver specifications for software development and requirements for systems integration

- Able to engage regularly with the Product Manager, Directors and other key stakeholders in analysing and evaluating the product functionalities, and provide technical direction to the product

- Bring in passion, dedication and quality into his/her work to develop a world-class cloud-based automotive product and corresponding mobile apps

- Ready to roll up the sleeves and get hands-on in development at all times

- Institutionalize best practices in application development

- Enjoys working in a young, multi-cultural, Agile/Scrum-oriented start-up team revolutionising the automotive industry with next-generation products

Requirements

- Expertise with development tools & leading code repository, systems architecture design, development and deployment experience for enterprise applications with mobile & big data analytics capability on cloud platforms

- Strong experience in enterprise/client-server application development for 5+ years

- Strong understanding of Web Technologies - HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON etc.

- Expertise on MEAN stack (MongoDB, Node.js & Angular.js)

- Experience with developing & building services for clients on web and mobile

- Expertise in database design using NoSQL and RDBMS

- Experience with M2M/IoT enabled application development would be a plus - including understanding of communication protocols, security, cloud solutions

- Experience in design and development of big data infrastructure preferred

- Exposure to SaaS product development environments preferred
