Job Title / Designation	:	Chief Technology Officer  Job Description:	  - Planning, Strategising, Implementing various customer centric software development projects, improving existing projects, managing a team of IT professionals and working towards enhancing their productivity.  - Responsible for articulating vision & designing IT strategy.  - To implement a country-wide scalable and resilient business software for Mobile Wallet, eCommerce & Travel portal.  - Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business  - Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company's services. Evaluate and partner with service providers-internal and external  - Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan  - Establish & Manage e-commerce technology platforms including the strategic planning, development, and support of all Web Initiatives  - Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan, Disaster Recovery Plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers.   - Draw up IT Policy for approval by the Board and implement the approved policy.  - Define and monitor IT budgets in line with business plans and expectations  Work Experience: 15 to 20 years  		 Desired Candidate Profile: 		 Profile Description : At least 15 years of experience in IT  - Experience in architecture and deployment of e-Commerce applications in retail e-Commerce business with hands on exposure to the latest Commerce Server Applications preferred.   - Demonstrated experience in selecting and managing external vendors to design and implement designated aspects of enterprise IT requirements and solutions.  - Ability to interpret technology & market trends as a foundation for roadmaps.   - Experience in Web-based, portal deployments, custom/3rd party interface techniques  - Understanding of web security and threats possible. Implement various threat fixing tools across internet/intranet applications   - Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure  - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms at all levels of staff.  Technical expertise:  - Programming Languages: ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, PHP (open source)  - .Net Framework: 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 (currently working on 2.0 & 3.5)  - Scripting Languages: Javascript, JQuery, VBScript, ActionScript  - RDBMS: MS SQL Server, MySQL (open source)  - Graphic Software and Tools: Photoshop, Corel Draw, Fireworks, Image Ready, Flash, Flex  - IDEs/APIs: Google Maps, Constant Contact, Visual Studio, Dreamweaver  - Technologies: Web Services, Windows Services, WCF, LINQ, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, JQuery  - Web Servers: IIS, Apache (open source)  - CMS: Drupal, Joomla, Word Press  - Testing/QA: JMeter, SeleniumHQ, Bugzilla etc.  - UI & UX: Knowledge of bootstrap, less, html5 and responsive design.
