The position is based in New Delhi.  Job Description  - Defining IT Organisation, Vision and goals in short to long term  - Define the technical requirements for new and existing services.  - Ensure the continued scalability of the platform by identifying potential bottlenecks at an early stage, re factoring existing features where needed and making sure new features scale horizontally.  - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.  - Evaluate and identify appropriate and new generation technologies for delivering the company s services.  - Evaluation of current technologies, applications, web and determining strategic path and execution plans  - Leading new edge technology initiatives in optimizing organizational productivities and effectiveness  - Taking lead in putting relevant technology solutions in Finance, Human Resources and other integrated applications   - Developing integrated network access and monitoring policies  - Manage the office IT environment  - Monitor application performance and review application failures.  - Ensure technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.  - Define the development and deployment annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.  - Supervise recruitment, training, retention and organization of technical staff.  - Effectively manage IT teams including ones positioned at various Locations Pan India  Desired Candidate Profile:  - University degree in the field of computer science/ BE and a management degree  - 15 to 20 years of experience - hands-on experience preferably with e-commerce industries  - Proven leadership ability.  - Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.  - Keen attention to detail.
