Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – E-Commerce based client

Education: IIT & NIT with additional PG in Management (Not Must)
Location: Mysore
We’re looking for a person who actively wants to join a start-up. The role will involve, complete ownership of business technology, to ensure a simple, scalable and intuitive platform.
- Great for a (web) technology bhakt, who now wants a leadership role.
- Own the architecture design, maintenance, development, of the entire front end and learning platform.
- Work as a part of the senior business team to ensure the platform actively contributes to sales,CRM and a great user experience.
- Plan, hire, groom and manage a star tech team; as well as manage all internal technology requirements (IT security, networking, h/w and s/w )
- You will have immense freedom to ideate, plan and execute. You’ll be part of a high quality team, which is creating a great company from scratch.
Note that we need a TECHNOLOGY manager, and NOT project management.
Who you are:
- Min 5 years in internet - based product development. Pure delivery experience will not be sufficient.
- You have started out with coding, and understand of good coding practices.
- You are strong in architecture and databases.
- You understand web architecture, and how retail portals are architected for usability and scalability.
- You are keen to learn and seek to enhance knowledge continuously.
IT SKILL
- Java / JEE ,RDBMS (Oracle / MYSQL), LAMP,Design Patterns,Your interest is in how technology can drive business, rather than technology for its own sake.
- You should understand web application security features and web 2.0 functionalities
