Chief Operations Officer - FMCG/Mfg (15-30 yrs)
- Drive manufacturing operational excellence, maintaining existing manufacturing units (Co-owned and contract) and facilities to high integrity standards
- Directing the production at 100% plus productivity levels, planning and implementing Capex and automation projects
- Managing the P&L accountability,
- Directing the set-up of manufacturing plants and develop blueprints for long-term capacity enhancement.
- Be the change agent in formulating continuous improvement & process improvement plan and rive operational excellence initiatives across the locations.
- Lead company's End-to-end supply chain across the manufacturing operations in India, involving Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Distribution, Quality, Cost, Health, Safety, Environment, Service to sales, Productivity and Regulatory compliance.
- Ability to lead complex multi-location End-to-End Supply Chain operations of big size.
- Lead Environment occupational health and safety agenda at all the manufacturing locations.
- Ensure that as company grows, manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness.
- Work closely with the CEO and the Management on manufacturing plans, goals, and future product innovations.
- Have the ability to develop and implement various short term and long term customer focused strategies in a Competitive Business environment.
- Supervise the wage settlements, consent negotiations between union & employees; establishing cordial relationship with govt. officials; Direct the Greenfield and Brownfield projects across geographical locations.
- Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements
- Ensure all RMPMs are available as per plan. Rolled out new products as per timelines.
- Ensure service to all the global market destinations.
- Implement CAPEX through Engineering team.
- Set up process for RMPM efficiency improvement, throughput increase, equipment flexibility, reduction of fuel consumption and overhead cost reduction.
- Make contingency plans and manage risks inherent in site operations to ensure supply continuity.
