Client Details

Our client is an Indian company that manufactures and distributes specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical products. They have multiple facilities in the Mumbai region and are looking at exponential growth in the next few years backed by heavy investment in R&D and NPD. They are looking to bring on a COO to guide their growth strategy and lead a team to manage their day to day operations. This role will be based out of Mumbai.

Description

Reporting to the ED and leading operations, you will be responsible for -

- Leading and managing a team comprising the heads of departments of manufacturing, projects, marketing and procurement

- Establishing goals for performance and growth of the company

- Creating policies that promote the company vision

- Evaluating performance by analyzing data and metrics

- Assisting the ED and Chairman CEO in growth related planning and executing

- Managing relationships with partners/vendors

- Taking up travel to different plants of the company as when necessary

Profile

- You are entrepreneurial in nature and want to take on the challenge of growing a business and taking new products to market

- Ideally have a BE/ B.Tech degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and have worked at export oriented units

- You have at least 10 years of plant management experience in an US/ Europe FDA approved plants.
