Chief Operating Officer - Manufacturing Operations - Engineering Firm

Responsible for complete operations including all manufacturing units, quality circles, technology, new plants, materials, plant IR, Industrial engineering, manufacturing commercials, maintenance, systems etc

Grow systems & production to next level wrt productivity, profitability, commercials, costing, inventory etc

Set up new plant, learn & adapt to technology, understand business & pulse of plants, familiar with machine issues

Implement best systems, controls, processes & practices using SAP; Responsible for plant standards & plant P&L

Manage design & development including drawing office

Encourage use of modern methods like TQM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, JIT etc; Build quality thinking to International standards

Provide leadership to team, build macro management thinking, systematically introduce innovative processes & systems for productivity gains

Pre-empt customer needs & resolve problems; local liaising with competent authorities

Leader with great communication & personality & ability to get work done; capable of managing 2x growth in 3-5 years

BE, 18-23 years of experience, 45-50 years of age, Rs.60-80 lakhs per annum
