About our Client:

NephroPlus (www.nephroplus.com) is a pure play dialysis network with the mission of reshaping dialysis care in India and beyond. They are India's largest chain of kidney care clinics with 27 centres across 10 Indian states. Each NephroPlus center is a one stop shop for all of a kidney patient's needs. They are currently adding 2-3 centers a month and their vision is to grow 4 fold over the next 3-4 years all over India aligning with partners such as large hospital chains and single location hospitals.

They have raised money from marquee investors like Bessemer Venture Partners and International Finance Corporation (a World Bank entity), and are associated with some top hospitals (incl. Max Hospitals and hospitals from the Apollo and Fortis groups) and nephrologists across India. They also have world renowned nephrologist, Dr Brian Pereira, on their board of Directors.

Job Description: Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the key accountabilities will be:

- Develop and improve relationships with key stakeholders and nephrologists at partner hospitals

Quality Improvement:

- Refine clinical and non-clinical processes with a view to standardize operations across all centers and facilitate rapid growth

- Ensure adherence to quality standards in the unit operations

- Ensure implementation of Clinical and administrative protocol

Strategic Planning & Performance Management:

- Ensure optimum utilization of facilities & services

- Monitor the key performance indicators of the centers and initiate corrective action, whenever necessary

- Identifying performance targets & accountabilities, reviewing & evaluating performance against the targets, identifying & addressing deviations & its relevant causes.

- Is responsible for bottom line profitability and revenue generation as per target of the units & procedures

- Plan and implement up-gradation of the unit facilities, product equipment and services

- Implementing the Performance Appraisal Plan for the Operations staff, Finalization of KRAS, Evaluating & providing feedback

- To enhance profit margins through driving cost reduction across consumables, staff and utilities ยท Administrative and team management responsibilities

- Lead and Mentor zonal operations managers; Define job responsibilities for operations managers across all levels (centers, clusters, zones)

- Ensures relevant statutory requirements and norms are met so as to achieve efficiency of business operations

- Handling all minor and major operational issues on a day to day basis with the help of team, but also be available 24/7 for urgent issues

- Monitoring & reviewing all patient related services to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction

The Successful Candidate:

- Any Graduate (MBA preferred), with 5+ years of Healthcare Operations leadership experience for a multi-location network with a consistent record of exceeding expectations

- Good knowledge of administration

- Total Quality Management & Process Improvement

- Fair knowledge of Health Care Industry setup

- Level headed with ability to work in uncertain or intense or conflict situations

- Ability to think through the challenging issues and work independently without day to day supervision

- Able to thrive in an early-stage company with a very agile and flexible environment and limited resources

- Willing to roll up sleeves and get involved at ground level as the situation demands

- Interpersonal Relations: Team work, Effective communication, Positive & Empathetic attitude, presentability

- Willing to travel 2-3 days a week or as the work demands
