We would like to present to you an opportunity for the role of COO for a Leading Chain of Multispecialty Hospitals in Bangalore

Our client is a leading multispecialty hospital, well-known for undertaking some exceptional and distinctive surgeries, but with a touch of charity and humanity. Each of their achievements has earned them national and international recognition for undertaking medical advancements.

They aim to achieve Clinical Excellence with Social Relevance. They aim to make quality healthcare affordable to everyone in India. They have undertaken various initiatives to achieve this and have been successful with each one of them. They believe in prevention through education and in scientific and customised rehabilitation.

Armed with a team of dedicated and highly qualified doctors, our client is going from achievement to achievement and putting Indian medical services on the world map. They serve various departments like Orthopaedics, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Maxillo Facial Surgery, Accidents and Trauma, and other specialities. They also undertake non- surgical services, ancillary services and have special clinics.

Our Client is looking to take on board a Chief Operating Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

As the COO for Multispecialty Hospital, you will have the complete ownership of the following areas:

Sales and Marketing:

- Generate top line revenues through marketing and branding functions for the Hospitals

- Generate bottom line revenue by maintaining Cash Break Even, EBITA and Profit margins, through operational efficiencies

- Develop marketing strategy, positioning and communication strategy of the hospital

- Conceptualize & develop CRM initiatives focused on defined customer segments across markets

- Plan and Execute new product lines & clinical programme in the system

- Manage the brand of the Hospital through close relationship with media.

Operations and Administration:

- Monitor and deliver high standards of Health service and Clinical Quality & Accreditation

- Talent Acquisition, Engagement and Retaining Doctors and Medical Consultants for the Hospitals

- Manage relationship with the partners who have co invested into the hospital

- Design, develop and implement best practices for the delivering quality services

- Ensure all operational responsibilities including efficient management of outsourced vendors and other support services are as per the standards required

Consultant Relationship:

- Develop a strong and efficient process to ensure that Medical Consultant create and maintain a beneficial relationship with the Hospital

- Manage and lead the team of Medical consultants and also resolve their grievances and queries

People Management:

- Goal Setting exercises for the functional teams like Hospital Operations, Finance, Human Resource Nursing and Marketing

- Monitoring performance review for the teams

- Developing leadership for expansion & second line development

Experience & Type of Industry: 15+ years of work experience in Hospital and Healthcare Administration and Management

Education: MBA or MBA in Hospital Administration from a Tier 1 Business School

Salary: 30 lakhs to 50 lakhs p.a

Location: Bangalore
