COO - Events

- You will be responsible for P&L of the Events vertical

- Continually identify targets for Event Management revenue and execute growth plan in identified areas.

- Focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department.

- To chart out growth and execution plan for making the vertical profitable and self-sustainable.

- Organizing calendar based events Pan India / Globally ; reaching out to the masses / corporates / social & cultural leaders etc.

- Develops working relationships with outside vendors and establishes prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience and to increase additional revenue opportunities

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for overall strategy, planning, implementation and growth of Association events.

- Conceptualization of Annual Business Plans - Events / strategic planning / budgeting / Financial Analysis and approvals.

- Detailing the proposals wrt venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, costing & timelines.

- Formulating comprehensive MIS covering all the key performance measures of the business giving a macro picture.

- Creating Strong Branding through PR, Media, Digital & Online Marketing.

- Lead / Procure Sponsorships and revenue generation.

- Responsible for building team of professionals to handle the events and doing effective team management.

- Ensuring effective Operational and Administrative activities related to organizing the events across India and Internationally.

- Interacting & Inviting speakers, performers & other eminent personalities of industry / media/ theatre and ensuring logistics needed.

- Liasoning and networking

- Post event evaluation ( Including Analysis and reports for event stakeholders)

- Creates an atmosphere in all event management operations areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations.

- Consult with customers in order to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. Graduate/Post Graduate with 12 to 18 yrs of experience in the field of Event Management with experience of working in Senior Management positions in previous organizations.

2. Good written & oral communication & presentation skills

3. Strong analytical skills- ability to understand and interpret numbers.

4. Demonstrated ability to form and develop corporate relationships and partnerships

5. Demonstrated success in the development and promotion of fundraising events or similar programs

6. Ability to sell the Association's programs and events to a variety of audiences, including corporate management, individual participants and volunteers

7. Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of large events preferred

8. Being culturally and artistically inclined will be an added advantage

9. Ability to think out of the box

10. Multi-tasking and Ability to handle pressure.

11. Effective leadership skills and team management abilities

12. Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers at different levels of expertise with diplomacy

13. Ability to work with diverse communities and demonstrate inclusion

14. Good Orator Skills and Networking

15. Excellent organizational skills; professional customer service skills with visitors, callers and volunteers
