Chief Operating Officer-BPO/KPO/IT/ITes  Role specification :   Job summary Oversee the profitable growth of the organization including developing long and short range financial plans, ensuring sound financial controls are in place. Set financial priorities accurately to ensure the organization is operating in a manner that supports the needs of the program and staff.   Main responsibilities Leader :   - Advises the Board  - Advocates / promotes organization and stakeholders, change related to organization's Vision, Mission & Values   - Decides, guides & implements courses of action in operations.  - The role provides the interface between company and its clients in the UK and liaises closely with the IRIS sales department to market IRIS KPO resourcing offering in the UK.  Visionary / Information Bearer :   - Looks to the future for change opportunities  - Interfaces between Board and employees  Responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer :   Software integration for Service Delivery :   - Oversees design, delivery and quality of the operations and services  Financial, Risk and Facilities Management :   - Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations  - Direct company operations to meet budget and financial goals.  - Direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.  - Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company products and services.  - Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans  - Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives.  Deliverables :   - Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all operations and services.  - Setting up SOPs for operations, implementation and ensuring complete adherence.  - Implementation of new processes in business.  - Overseeing the entire backend operations & fulfillment of business in hand  Key relationships :   - Group CEO,UK-US  - Clients  - Functional Heads  - HR Director  - Finance Head.  Qualifications : Graduates or Post Graduates  Experience : A minimum of 5 years work experience in a BPO/ KPO.  - Ideal experience/Knowledge in accounting or software development would be added advantage.   - As COO, the individual must demonstrates critical competencies in four broad categories: commitment to results, business savvy, leading change, and motivating people.  Competencies :   - Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.  - Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.  - Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
