Chief Marketing Officer - eCommerce (10-15 yrs)

Silverpeople is retained one of the largest and most respected conglomerates in India having multibillion turnover, to support them in their big bang ecommerce market entry ambitions. We are looking to handpick, best in class leaders to make the core CXO level team at the top. The agenda is to pick the best talent and create an iconic ecommerce fashion venture. We are looking for go-getters with passion for e commerce and desire to create and be part of something new, something big.

We are looking for a Head Marketing (CMO) for this planned e-commerce venture.

Position Reporting: CEO

Job Purpose: To build a leading brand in fashion e-Commerce space. Develop and executed an overall consumer marketing and brand strategy, including digital marketing, that generates highest bang-for-buck in terms of driving high-quality consumer traffic for website/apps/ etc.

Principal Accountabilities :

Identify, plan, conduct, and derive insights from consumer research

Identify basis for differentiation continually based on ongoing refresh of consumer insights and competitor moves and actions

Build and execute brand marketing strategy across online/ digital (e.g., SEM, affiliate marketing) and offline (print/ TV/ Radio/ etc)

Build world-class digital marketing capability, including distinctive analytics capability

Design and Run the loyalty program - work closely with Product management and B&M teams for maximizing impact of loyalty program

Core Skills :

Building a new brand ground-up

Deep understanding of Digital marketing and brand management

Strong conceptual and analytical skills

Qualifications :

MBA (Marketing) from Top B-schools

Prior work experience in digital marketing & brand building specially e-commerce space (or apparel).

10 + years of experience with at least 2 years experience in e-commerce.

Age: Less than 40 years

Salary: Not a constraint for right candidate, A best in class combination of fixed +variable +esop's.
