Job Description : Chief Marketing Officer
Location : Gurgaon
Summary :
The purpose of the job is implementation of an organization-wide marketing strategy for product positioning, market penetration and pricing which will improve the organization's competitive position across country.
Job Responsibilities:
Operational tasks / deliverables:
- Providing strategic direction to the team in alignment with the overall branding and marketing strategy
- Regular strategy relook, organize 2 strategic reviews per year (Q1, Q3), facilitate formulation of strategy
- Recommend changes in marketing philosophy and policy when such changes serve the best interests of the organization.
- Set up optimal product portfolio with respect to our systems limitations (HS) and flexibly reacts on business needs, product set-up in systems
- With Sales and Customer Experience, design sales arguments and sales scripts
- Regular review of product profitability, drive product pricing, creative pricing structures, insurance
- Design and produce effective marketing materials for sales support; Regional support of Sales with marketing materials (logistics, language issues)
- Develop relationships for delivery PR messages, manage/prevent negative PR
- Set up regular internal communication tools (newsletters, magazines, intranet, regular all employee meetings), and manage content
- Building, managing and developing Mkt team, right staffing, succession planning
Strategic tasks / deliverables:
- Organizing process of Strategy set up, owning rolling 5 year strategic plan, incorporate group strategy "Agenda 2020"
- Ensures market knowledge within organization (knowing / understanding market, competitors, partners)
- Drives further development of Homer Select to enable strategic plans of Indian business
- Set up optimal external / internal communication strategy (Marketing Communication, PR)
- Defines and develops our brand (described and defined in a brand book), building brand awareness
Desired Profile :
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with minimum 8 years of leadership experience
- Exposure in new product launch, customer integration and management, consumer insights/ analytics & planning
- Exposure of working in a geographically diverse organization
