Our client is a recognized brand in the energy and natural resources industry. They're currently looking at strengthening and scaling up operations in India and hence are looking for a Chief Manager Vendor Development who can help them reach the next level

Description

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for -

- Formulating strategies to develop alliances across vendor base for ensuring the souring of commodities in the right quality and quantity

- Conducting in depth market research and looking out for new avenues for sourcing of commodities across various regions

- Managing a team of professionals with responsibility for their growth and development in the organization

- Working closely with all the functions to ensure the smooth flow of operations

Profile

You will be a professional with more than 10 years of experience in vendor development and strategic sourcing ideally in Engineering/Energy Generation industries with key focus on market research and cost benefit analysis. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership skills and hands on approach towards his/her work
