We have been retained by our client, a well established, professionally managed NBFC (Non Banking Finance Company), to identify a Chief Manager- SME collection to be based at Mumbai.  JOB PURPOSE:   Execute recovery strategies and initiatives that drive process improvement, demonstrate sustainability of existing processes and partner with the Business leader in supporting the strategic direction of the business.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Recovery of high value NPA and write-off accounts.  - Exposure to restructuring & liquidation process.  - To understand and interpret the balance sheet and other financial statements of a company.  - Negotiating and finalizing resolution deals with defaulting borrowers.  - To assist in overseeing the process of acquisition / disposal of residential / commercial / retail premises and/or repossession of movable assets.  - To supervise the team for managing high value fraud cases / defaulters / insolvent clients and initiating appropriate legal actions against them.   - Allocation of cases, capacity planning, ensuring field visits, curtailing flow rates and normalization of delinquent accounts.   - Co-ordinating with legal department for sending the legal notices to the non-payment accounts.   - Monitoring accounts & developing reports to ensure compliance with legal statutes & initiating strong legal action in case of continuous payment default.   - Recruiting, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process, operations and meeting of individual & group targets.   - Conduct meetings for setting up performance objectives and designing or streamlining processes to ensure smooth functioning of collection operations.  - To manage a team and external vendors  DESIRED SKILLS:  - Good knowledge of secured and unsecured business loans of various kinds.  - Strong writing, Excel and presentation skills.  - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills   - Ownership and Accountability   - Planning, Organizing and System Orientation  - Must possess strong team player qualities, excellent interpersonal skills  - Sound problem solving and decision making skills.  - Excellent analytical and reporting skills.  - Strong relationship skills both internal and external.  - Good knowledge of excel and financial formulas to compute cash flows, calculation of IRR, NPV etc.  - Sound problem solving and decision making skills  CANDIDATE PROFILE  Ideal candidates meeting with the above criteria should be ICWA/CA/MBA's with about 7 to 10 years of relevant experience or Graduates with around 15 years relevant experience.  Interested candidates meeting with the above requirements may please respond with a recent photograph and resume in word format
