Chief IT Architect - VC Funded Tech Startup

Position : Chief IT Architect (US based VC Funded Tech Startup)

Role :

- This role is with a VC funded Tech Startup which uses Artificial Intelligence and deep learning algorithms to simplify enterprise content creation

- The Chief Architect will lead platform development, innovation and technical product management with an emphasis on coaching, empowerment and talent development

- Will be a member of the Senior Leadership team

- Will be a proponent of our innovation-centric culture and a be active in cultivating our company as an employer of choice

- Lead and direct the planning, allocation, training, coaching and evaluation of technology staff

- Deliver world class architecture based on customer requirements

- Provide overall strategic direction, growth strategy, and product vision

- Deliver a platform roadmap that supports the business strategy

- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-facing experimentation

- Serves as an external technical face of the company, engages with stakeholders in the community, and develops relationships with key technology partners

- Communicates company's technology strategy to investors, bankers, employees and stakeholders

Requirements :

- MS/ MTech (Comp Sc/IT) from a premier institute

- 11+ years work experience, preferably in companies with established software processes

- 5+ years developing high-performance, highly available, and scalable applications. Experience with distributed, large scale systems. Build large scale systems that handle millions of transactions daily

- 3+ years in Artificial intelligence and Machine learning

- Stack components - SOLR, Message queue technology required, e.g., Akka, SQL Server Databases (SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Database Triggers), multithreaded applications

- REST expertise required; Micro-service architecture familiarity needed

- NLP (Natural Language Processing) experience preferred

- Experience in apps that handle Office and Adobe documents such as PPT(X), PDF, DOC(X)
