The position is responsible for overseeing the investments, and investment managers of the Family Office ARC portfolio.  Client Details  Client is an Asset Reconstruction Company of a family office set up.  Job Description  The CIO oversees all facets of the organisation's investment function including, but not limited to, the following primary accountabilities:  - Coordinate overall investment strategy and portfolio construction in alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives, risk appetite, ALM, and capital objectives  - Monitor the investment portfolio's performance and underlying risks, taking proactive measures to manage risks in the portfolio and adjusting asset allocations as appropriate  - Manage and work closely with external investment managers in developing and executing overall investment strategy  - Serve as the primary liaison to the Investment Committee of the Board of Directors, assisting the Committee Chair as necessary in the execution of the Committee's responsibilities.  - Manage daily cash flow to ensure appropriate working capital needs and allocation of excess funds for long-term investing  - Creates and maintains a team of professionals to originate, analyse, finance, close, manage and sell real estate investments.  - Leads underwriting and due diligence activities  - Briefs members of the Advisory Board and the Board of Members on proposed acquisitions.  - Identifies sources of debt financing relationships  Profile  Essential Job Requirements   Experience: The successful candidate will possess 10-15 years of institutional investment management experience with a strong origination and diligence experience. The candidate will also have experience in managing people and processes.  Education: MBA or equivalent degree from a premier institution in finance, business administration, economics, or accounting.
