Chief Information Officer (Head- IT)

1. Defining IT strategy aligned with Global IT Strategy across India to support business requirements.

2. Matrix management of Business Application Services (BAS) team with primary skills in Ruby/.net/Java/etc. in collaboration with the Global Director of Business Application Services.

3. Matrix management of Data Management and Central Analytics (DMCA) team on various ETL and analytics projects in collaboration with the DMCA management in US.

4. Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits

5. Designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve Information Security and customer experience

6. Overseeing the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance

7. Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage

8. Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions

9. Preparing and tracking budgets to implement IT strategy.

10.Ensuring uninterrupted, 24x7 operations delivery centers.

11.Developing and maintaining a business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure timely and effective restoration of data and IT services in the event of a disaster.

12.Ensuring the security of networks, servers, desktops, and associated data.

13.Supporting compliance with HiTech/HIPAA/PCI/ISO and other relevant security and privacy standards as required by customers.

14.Managing vendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, etc. Interacting with clients on issues of technology, security, and privacy. Supporting business line management and identifying opportunities for adding value through technology innovation.

15.Serving on planning, strategy, compliance and policy-making committees with other senior management to charter the future of the organization.

16.Recruiting and mentoring skilled staff to support the department's mission.

17.Performing or reviewing talent reviews and development plans for all IT personnel.

Skills:

- Proven leadership track record of high-visibility projects.

- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure

- Background in designing/developing IT systems, Software Development, ETL & Analytics projects, and planning IT implementation

- Ability to quickly apply new and evolving technologies.

- Management Skills (resource planning, setting expectations, scheduling, mentoring, prioritizing.

- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations

- A strong strategic and business mind set

- Flexibility and respect for company culture and co-workers.

- High Integrity

Qualifications:

BE+MBA (preferably)
