Key Focus Areas

- In-depth understanding of SAP Modules

- Hands on Experience in implementing Warehouse Management system (WMS ), Preferably Infor.

- Exposure to latest technologies in SCM/ Logistics like Put to Light, Voice Picking, Warehouse automation etc would be added advantage.

- Exposure to Technologies pertaining to Ecommerce logistics is must.

- Managing relationship with local and foreign partners and supporting strategic planning with overall focus to reduce cost and maintaining

SLAs.

- In-depth understanding of Technology related to logistics business like Transport Management System (TMS), Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and Fleet Management System (FMS)

- Exposure to CRM, SRM and Sales force automation (SFA) application is desirable.

- Responsible to evaluate hardware vendors on technical and commercial front for hardware like Application Servers, Media Servers, SAN Storage, Back Up devices, Microsoft licences, Ms-Sql Server licenses, Oracle Database licenses, Networking equipments like Routers/Switches etc

- Liaising with Infrastructure team for installation of MPLS and installing firewall, Antivirus etc.

- Responsible for preparing ISO related documents and ensuring process adoption as per standards.

Skills/Competencies Required

- Should be currently working as CIO / Head IT in Mid Size Organization.

- Overseas exposure is desirable.

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity, solid team player.

- Ability to architect, manage and drive change

- Effective Leadership Skills

- Established and managed excellent relationships with CXO- s, Vice Presidents and Directors.

- Good Negotiation Skills specifically while dealing with Vendors

Qualification Required: BE (Comp. Sc. Or Any ) With MBA

Work Exp Required: 15 to 20 Years
