About our Client - Our client is a Denmark based Retail Chain established over 35 years ago. The operate in more than 40+ countries and have 5000+ plus stores worldwide. Their retails brands consist of Ladies Wear, Men's Wear and Children Clothing.

Job Description - Reporting to the Country Head and managing a team of 5 direct reports across functions like, Finance & Accounts, Supply Chain, IT, Secretarial, Legal - your specific responsibilities will include Manage the Finance & Accounts team - ensuring proper controls are in place.

- Ensure Liaison with the senior management team in defining the values of the organization

- Creating business plans, driving business profitability and presenting to the Board Implementation of an ERP systems so as to streamline the reporting systems

- Involved in Raising capital from the market (Fund Raising, Working Capital, etc)

- In addition, you would be responsible to lead, motivate and groom the talent within the organization.

The Successful Candidate - You should be a Chartered Accountant & Company Secretary with a minimum of 15 years experience. You should have extensive experience in the Retail industry or be part of an FMCG organization. Individuals working in companies with a Turnover in excess of 1000 Crores would be preferred for this job. You should have strong technical and operational skills and knowledge of Indian Accounting Systems, IFRS and US GAAP. Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally in a constructive and supportive manner. You need to be an excellent communicator and team player, with a confidence to influence and operate at all levels.
