Function: Finance & Accounts

Reporting to: CEO

Purpose:

- Provide strategic direction and financial decision support to the organization by establishing, monitoring and enforcing financial and operational analytics, accounting policies, procedures and controls. Implement sound financial management paradigms for maximization of returns on investments, effective management of cash-flow and minimization of risk exposure. Ensure all legal and compliance requirements of the organization are met without exceptions. To achieve the aforesaid purpose through a strong, vibrant and responsive F&A team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Key decision support to the CEO in driving business deliverables serve as a pivotal member of the senior management team responsible for formulation of the overall organization strategy and short term / long term business plans with respect to target markets/ customers, product/services strategy, cost optimization initiatives etc. and provide timely and accurate input on the financial parameters involved.

- Responsible for providing regular reports and inputs for designing the corporate strategy, risk and mitigation plans, going forward strategy, etc., pertaining to financial aspects of various business plans (across businesses).

- Support decision making by providing timely inputs on strategic matters relating to legal, compliance and taxation areas affecting the organization and the market in which it operates.

- Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers in banks, credit agencies and other financial institutions.

- Build/strengthen F&A team that helps provide seamless and timely support to the business.

Financial

- Responsible for managing and raising debt for the organization - monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity and short and long term sustainability of the company and take necessary measures to ensure availability of working capital.

- Driving budget/forecasts processes and analysis and reporting of financial data for the purpose of business planning.

- Drive organization wide cost management strategies and initiatives.

- Responsible for driving development, implementation and adherence of all financial and accounting policies & procedures for the organization in compliance with the applicable financial and accounting standards.

- Oversee effective taxation planning and compliance for the organization.

Operational (Risk management)

- Develop/strengthen controls relating to Contracting, Supply chain, margin money monitoring and inventory management

- Develop/strengthen insurance processes as appropriate for the businesses

- Develop/strengthen compliance processes, specifically for third party contracts as well as for the businesses in general.

People

- Provide direction, guidance and support to functional employees across the regions/businesses.

- Monitor the performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify key performers.

Qualification:

CA / MBA with 15-20 years of experience in the areas of finance & Accounting. Candidate working with NBFC with good banking relationship and working on fund raising projects preferred.
