Hiring for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a Listed Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC) in Mumbai Location.

About the Company :

The company is a leading listed NBFC. Currently they have two business verticals :

Wholesale Lending : Majorly catering to Real Estate Project finance

SME / Retail lending : Majorly catering to secured loans Equipment finance and Loan Against property, The ticket sizes ranges from Rs 20 Lacs to Rs 100 Lacs

- In addition, the company has a license for Housing finance and the company plans to launch Home Loan product soon.

- The company is listed in BSE / NSE. Currently they have about 500 employees and the loan book of around Rs 1200 crores.

Job Description :

Fund Raising :

- Spearheaded the fund raising efforts, good relationship with global/domestic Private Equity funds/Banks

- Leading the fund raising initiative of the Company to ensure clear visibility of funds/credit limit for ensuring the AUM growth and Cash Flows.

- Representing company to Institutional Investors, PE firms, Mutual Funds, Banks, FI, FIIs, Rating Agencies, Debenture Trustees, Registrars, Brokers/intermediaries to ensure that the adequate credit limits are available which has in turn led to development of extensive relationships.

- Nurtured and developed extensive relationship with Senior Bank Officials, Mutual Funds

- Managers/CIOs, FI, FIIs and major local and international Investment Banks.

Investor relations :

- Liaison with Private Equity Investors / stakeholders FI's PSU & Pvt. Sector Banks who have invested Equity fund and Debt Fund in the Companies.

- Providing periodic financial information in the formats agreed with them at agreed intervals after Review with Chairman/Promoters.

- Attending investor meetings along with Chairman & Directors.

- Any other related matter.

Other responsibilities :

- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational budgets.

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and ensure adequate coverage of insurance.

- Ensure that the business meets all statutory requirements & statutory reporting (compliance local legal system, Tax declarations like VAT, Corporate Income Tax)

- Analyze financial results and provide the management with a clear understanding of the financial performance and the financial effects / implications of business plans and strategies.

Requirements :

- Chief Financial Officer, should be a Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance

- Hands on experience in raising debt from banks/FII/FI and also through Private Placement and Public Issue of NCDs.

- Strong relations with Banks and other FIs

- A person of proven professional competency and managerial ability at the corporate level

- Good commercial and business acumen.

- Strong Leadership skills, networking & negotiation skills

- Candidate must have decent communication skills both oral & written.

- Analytical and conceptual thinking.
